the fine print, kept even

Last reviewed: this season.
This note explains what MIRROR MATCH does with the details you hand across the desk when you book a seat, reserve a duel pair, or send us a question. We treat your side of the record the way we run the room itself — plainly, evenly, and with nothing hidden behind the axis. We ask for exactly what a booking needs and keep it no longer than the game requires.
What we collect
When you fill in the Book a duel form you share your name, your opponent's name (or a note to find you one), an email, a date, and your chosen pair — Blitz, Standard or Grand. That is the whole list. The email lets us confirm the seat and reach you if the draw or the schedule shifts. We do not ask for anything we would not use to seat you at the table.
Why we hold it
Those details let us hold your station, confirm the reservation, and sort out anything that comes up around your visit or your place on the season ladder. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to advertisers. A booking record is kept only as long as it is useful for running the floor, then it is cleared, the same for every player on both sides of the axis.
Who sees it
The front desk and the duel stewards see your booking so they can draw pairs and seat you fairly. Nobody outside the club receives your details unless the law genuinely requires it. We run no third-party trackers and no advertising pixels on this site, so no outside company is quietly watching which side of the room you sat on.
Cookies
This site uses cookies sparingly, mirrored fairly on both sides. The only one that matters is a small entry saved in your browser to remember whether you accepted cookies or chose essential only — that is what stops the banner reappearing every visit. Essential storage keeps the page working; it is not shared and does not follow you elsewhere.
You can clear these any time in your browser settings. Doing so simply draws the consent banner back on your next visit. There are no advertising or cross-site cookies to opt out of, because we set none.
Your say
Want to know what a booking holds, or want it deleted? Ask at the front desk or reply to a confirmation email and we will settle it. This is one room with one axis — a request like that reaches a real steward, not a queue.
